UzLITI Engineering specialists continue taking an active part in various sporting events. This time seven our employees competed in an obstacle race held on the territory of Amirsoy Mountain Resort.
The competition, organised by BeFit Fitness and Wellness, was divided into several categories with different distances and number of obstacles, both natural and artificial. The course was laid in the vicinity of the resort and was full of ascents, descents and water obstacles, which the organizers supplemented with various artificial structures (walls) and exercise points (rope climbing, carrying weights). There was an unlimited number of attempts to pass the obstacles.
The following employees took part in the SPRINT category (5-kilometer race with 18 obstacles): Anton Yatsevyuk (41st place), Mohd Atif (186th place), Makdoom Shahbaz (184th place), Akbota Zhupkalieva (182nd place), Rehman Hafizur (184th place) and Elina Nigmatullina (187th place).
Vasiliy Kononov participated in the ELITE category race for 9 kilometers with 25 obstacles, and took the 41st place. He shared his impressions of the competition:
“The event was well-planned; you could feel the organizers took real efforts and inventiveness in devising the course. I took part in this race for the second time and again, it fueled me with a great amount of positive energy. I really had a blast! Last year I took part in the SPRINT category, and this year I took it up a notch to ELITE category, and I have no regrets about it. I would like to thank all my colleagues for participation, and I hope that in the future more employees of UzLITI Engineering will take part in such kind of competitions.”
The event ended with an award ceremony and a live music show with guest pop stars.
