The project process part was developed considering the requirements of regulatory documents in the field of aviation fuel supply and industrial safety of oil depots and petroleum stockpiles. Up-to-date equipment was used in the course of receiving, accounting, storing, filtering and distributing products.
Characteristics of the products
Aviation fuel is combustible substance introduced together with air into the combustion chamber of an aircraft engine to obtain thermal energy in the process of oxidation with air oxygen (combustion). ТС-1 jet fuel and А-1 fuel are, as a rule, kerosene fractions obtained by direct distillation from low-sulfur or sulphurous oil.
Process facilities and their purposes
The following main process facilities shall be designed in terms of the process part:
- railcar loading/unloading rack;
- tank farms;
- pumping and filtration station;
- aviation refueling truck loading station;
- drain vessel;
- emergency drainage tanks for emergency spills collecting;
- vapor recovery site;
- process pipelines.
