Active sports life is an integral part of UzLITI Engineering activities. Physical training and sports help employees in realization of complex production tasks, are a source of vigor and good mood.
Realizing the importance of active lifestyle for work efficiency, improving mutual understanding and cooperation, during the last year there were held competitions on chess and checkers, badminton, table tennis and football, in which hundreds of employees of the company took part. In addition, the most active athletes took part in various international athletics marathons and other tournaments.
On the last day of the outgoing year, UzLITI Engineering summarized the results of the sporting events and awarded the winners and prize-winners. In a festive atmosphere, all distinguished sportsmen received Certificates of Appreciation, medals and memorable gifts.
“I took third place in the table tennis competition”, said Elina Nigmatullina, a Specialist of the Piping Department. “I love this sport. In the warm season I regularly play with friends. It has already become one of my favorite hobbies, it helps me keep fit, actively communicate with friends, and charge me with positive emotions”.
The ceremony was held in a wonderful New Year atmosphere, and congratulations contained many warm words and wishes for new wonderful sports starts.
“We love sport and devote our free time to it”, said Akhliddin Istamov, a Lead Civil Engineer, winner of the football tournament as a member of the Civil Team. “We were happy with our success, and the awards will be memorable for us.”
As noted Vasily Pats, the Head of the Sports Department of UzLITI Engineering, the practice of organizing competitions will be continued throughout year 2024 and it is planned to attract even more participants.
